I’m probably making WAY too big a deal out of this, but it’s really frustrating me that people keep deleting all of the text off of my Land of the Gods posts. I put that information on there so people who like the music can easily reach the entire experience without having to do extra research.

I keep getting messages and seeing tags from people who have no idea that Land of the Gods is more than a song name, and I’m really happy that people are messaging me at all about it, but it also drives me crazy because I go out of my way to put the information out there and people go and delete it, thinking that it’s meaningless or takes up too much space.

I write those prose-y little italicized blurbs to give my audience a better idea of LotG’s over-arching story, and it takes away from the experience to not have them there. Those little sentences are absolutely integral to the music, and people don’t seem to understand that.

And I’ll probably get some flak about the “blatant commercialism” in my posts, regarding my links to the album on iTunes, Amazon, etc., but the fact of the matter is that these projects are how I plan to make a living (i.e., doing the things I love). So of course I’m going to link every song to my album’s page on iTunes; it would be stupid for me not to. The more reach those links can get, the better off I’ll be financially and the more time I’ll be able to put into these projects.

I may be wrong, but I don’t think I put a gratuitous amount of text into my music posts (definitely not like I used too), and I make sure that all of the posts are easily readable. Is there something that you as and audience would rather see in these posts?

Ultimately, every persons blog is their own space and I respect their judgement in how they format their posts, and I am unbelievably grateful that users reblog my content at all. I hope that I haven’t upset anyone by putting this out there, and if you’re one of the people who edits my posts, please understand that I’m not mad at you. I just want people to know why it is I do what I do.

i’d love to see more women villains that are completely unsympathetic. no stupid “woe is me” backstory that hardly justifies their actions. no victim complex. no hesitation. just a love for carnage and head games and an insatiable lust for pain. mentally unhinged or fully in control. there aren’t enough female characters out there that are truly monsters. as much as it’s fun to see male characters do that, i want some iconic serial killer ladies in my life.

Great! I know I’m excited to show you all what I’ve been working on! These new Land of the Gods tracks are going to be very unique, and certainly bring something new to the table, while still maintaining that classic Zelda vibe.

And Super is just going to be a lot of fun, so I can’t wait to share it with everyone!
