Land of the Gods, Volume II- The Chosen Hero

The solemn ritual ends, and a victor is chosen; the unexpected champion. A great and arduous task is laid before this young boy, this Chosen Hero. He accepts his duties, and the village bursts into frenzied celebration. On the outskirts of town, another boy sits, regretting a lost opportunity.

Land of the Gods, the Zelda-inspired concept album, is receiving a fully-fledged sequel album. This new album will embellish and articulate the story laid out in the first volume, expanding upon the characters, settings, and story scenarios.

Land of the Gods, Volume II— Status Update 3

Hey, folks! Just letting you know that I’ve made some slight changes to the Land of the Gods, Volume II cover art. I’ve darkened the purple and made it more blue-ish instead of red, and also have darkened the silver edging slightly. I’ve made these changes because the colors of the first and second album covers clashed terribly when placed side by side.

You can see the changes above. The original is on the left, and the updated version on the right.

Also of note: the premier track for Land of the Gods, Volume II will be up tonight at 7 PM Pacific Time! It’s inspired by Dragon Roost Island, and has become one of my top-favorite pieces for the project.

Hey, everyone! Just letting you know that the first track for the sequel to my Zelda-inspired concept album is due out sometime this weekend! I would give a more concrete time, but I’m going to be traveling a lot tomorrow, so it’s all up in the air.

Anyway, the new piece is inspired by Dragon Roost Island, and I’m really excited to show y’all, so keep an eye out!

Land of the Gods, Volume II— Status Update 1

Hey, there, everyone! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the upcoming sequel album to Land of the Gods, so I’ll be making regular posts about the nature of the project to keep y’all updated.

Land of the Gods, Volume II is less of a “sequel album” and more of an “interlocking” one. What I mean is that the album takes place concurrently with the original, as opposed to continuing the story afterwards. I’ve hit most of the main story points in the first album, so this album will be more about fleshing out the different characters and settings of the Land of the Gods universe.

Another Castle- Snowball Fight
Howdy, Tumblr!  Check out my first track for my Super Mario inspired album, Another Castle! This track is written in a combined style of Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 64, and is meant to evoke a playful, wintery feel. Hope you enjoy!
